Too afraid to fail

We have become a country of folks who won't and don't except failure. We have to get over that. When our leaders aren't allowed to admit failure it perpetuates their need to insist otherwise which only serves to dely the time to correct and adjust. What successful person haven't you heard say they learned more from their faiures than they have from their successes. Our kids aren't allowed to admit failure. Everyone is a winner and gets a medal. What a crock. When I was a kid a major lesson was good sportsmanship. How to be a good winner and how to lose with grace. Is that all gone?

Mitt's Hostile Leveraged Take Over of the Nomination

Why is anyone surprised that Mitt Romney is waging a horribly negative campaign to win the RepubliCant nomination for the presidency of the United States of America?  His much touted professional career was in investment banking.  But there are different parts of investment banking.  There is the Warren Buffet kind where you buy and hold a company and make money from buying sound companies.  Mitt did this for a little while.  Then Mitt found out you can make a whole lot more quicker by buying companies with that company as collateral.  Then you without the present owners consent take it over.  This is a HOSTILE LEVERAGED TAKE OVER and that is what Mitt is doing with the RepubliCant presidential nomination

Newt and Saul Alinski

Who is this Saul Alinski that Newt keeps bringing up and then associating him with Obama?  First they, Alinski and Obama, never met and Alinski died when Obama was just a child.  These are the words of Alinski and what his beliefs were...
To begin with, he does not have a fixed truthâ\”truth to him is relative and changing;
everything to him is relative and changing. He is a politcal{sic}relativist. He accepts the late Justice Learned Hand's statement that "the mark of a free man is that ever-gnawing inner uncertainty as to whether or not he is right."
The consequence is that he is ever on the hunt for the causes of man's plight and the general propositions that help to make some sense out of man's irrational world. He must constantly examine life, including his own, to get some idea of what it is all about, and he must challenge and test his own findings. Irreverence, essential to questioning, is a requisite.Curiosity becomes compulsive. His most frequent word is "why?"
Sounds good to me.

Newtonian Logic Out of Control

Newt, if there were no Palestinians before there were Palestinians then you are correct and they are an invented people. Before there were Hittites there were no Hittites.  Before there were Christians there were no Christians.  Before there were Sumerians there were no Sumerian's,  So according to Newt's Logic,  These too were invented. Is this the kind of off the wall uncalled for flame throwing we want in a President?  In this most sensitive time in the Middle East do we want a leader who will only stoke the flames of violence for his prurient political self interests?  What would the Right say if BHO ottered such nonsense?

Who are these "Job Creators?"

Research shows that a mere 1 percent of small business owners make more than $1 million per year. Only about 5.4 million of the nation’s 20 million small businesses pay any wages at all. The Republican claim about wealthy small business job creators, it turns out, is based on a convenient and overly broad definition of “small” that includes partnerships and S-corporations, like hedge funds, accoun...ting firms, law practices and other often big businesses.

So when they claim to be protecting small business from high-end taxes, Republicans are really talking about protecting big companies whose owners fall into the one-half of 1 percent of taxpayers who are millionaires or better. A surtax would certainly not hurt them.

Come join on Face Book

I have created a new group on Face Book  I AM OCCUPY  come join us!

LETS NOT FORGET WHAT NEWT ROUGHT when he did have power

Let us not forget that it was NEWT who brought us this current very divisive divided government. It was he and Tom Delay that made this hateful politically charged win at any cost Zero sum game They are the two that made this whole K street a tool for their own uses and damn the country its all about winning that is currently illustrated in their main follower ERIC CANTor REMEMBER of those still in government who served while NEWT was there DO NOT support his presidential ambitions So what could be more compelling than having the ones that know you best not support you???
