Heck of a job Gonzales

George W. Bush told reporters, “The attorney general went up and gave a very candid assessment, and answered every question he could possibly answer, honestly answer, in a way that increased my confidence in his ability to do the job.”

John Mc Enroe might say,"you've got to be kidding me!" But when you think about what W says it reveals a lot about what is going on in the White House and how it operates. Any objective observer would think the AG is a complete and total idiot, with good reason. Even Ashcroft looks reasonable. He only covered naked boobies. Whereas Gonzales has put blinders on. How does he remember how to get home every night? He sounds like he couldn't find his ass with both hands.

That said how can one square Gonzales' testimony with what the president said about that testimony? Simply, the AG did exactly as he was supposed to without making futher inquires into the operations of the white house posible. He stone walled and that is what the president is pleased about. W's increased confidence is due to standing up to truth with total non recall. Someone should have been making book on how many times Gonzales could say he could not recall.

Can't you just picture W and Cheney watching the hearing and dancing around the oval office singing, "I can't recall, I can't recall, I can't recall what I can't recall and that is all I can recall."
I mean they hate us for our freedom and its all about the children. Right?
